Early County is located in the southwest corner of the state. It is home to several historical attractions including Kolomoki Mounds State Park and Coheelee Creek Bridge, the southern-most covered bridge still standing, and is home to one of the last wooden flagpoles from the Civil War era, located at the historic Courthouse in downtown Blakely.
